Using this website

By using this website, registering for updates, or booking a Cryptara event, you agree to these terms. You must use the website lawfully and must not interfere with its security, availability, or other visitors’ use.

If event-specific booking terms conflict with these terms, the event-specific terms apply to that booking.

Event information

We aim to keep dates, venues, speakers, programmes, and access information accurate. Events sometimes require reasonable changes. If a material change affects your booking, we will provide the information and options required by applicable law and the event-specific booking terms.

Registration and tickets

You must provide accurate registration details and comply with any age, identity, accessibility, or entry requirements disclosed for the event. Tickets may only be transferred or resold where the relevant booking terms allow it.

Prices, payment terms, cancellation rights, and refund arrangements will be displayed before purchase. Your statutory consumer rights remain unaffected.

Entry and conduct

Attendees must follow reasonable venue, safety, security, and staff instructions. We may refuse entry or remove someone whose conduct is unlawful, unsafe, seriously disruptive, or infringes another person’s rights. Any refusal or removal will be handled proportionately and consistently with applicable law.

Crypto content and risk

Talks, workshops, demonstrations, and materials at Cryptara events are for general information and education. They are not financial, investment, legal, or tax advice, and they are not a recommendation to buy, sell, hold, or use any digital asset or service.

Digital assets and related services can involve substantial risk. Make your own assessment, verify third-party claims, and seek qualified advice where appropriate. Never share wallet recovery phrases or private keys at an event.

Speakers and third parties

Speakers, sponsors, exhibitors, venues, and service providers may express their own views or offer their own products and services. Unless we state otherwise, they act independently and their views are not Cryptara’s. Separate third-party terms may apply when you choose to deal with them.

Content and intellectual property

Cryptara’s branding, website content, and event materials are protected by intellectual property laws. You may use them for personal, non-commercial reference. You may not reproduce, sell, or commercially exploit them without permission from the relevant rights holder.

Photography and recording

We may photograph or record an event for reporting and promotion. We will provide reasonable notice where recording takes place. If you have a concern about appearing in event media, speak to the event team so we can consider a reasonable solution.

You must respect other attendees and any restrictions on recording sessions, presentations, or private conversations.

Our responsibility

We are responsible for loss or damage that is a foreseeable result of our breach of these terms or our failure to use reasonable care and skill. We do not exclude or limit responsibility where doing so would be unlawful, including responsibility for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or your mandatory consumer rights.

We are not responsible for losses caused solely by events outside our reasonable control, although this does not remove any remedy you have under applicable law or event-specific booking terms.

Privacy and event updates

We handle personal information in accordance with the privacy information shown when we collect it. If you ask to receive event updates, we may email you about Cryptara events and related announcements. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in an email.

Changes, law, and contact

We may update these terms when our services, events, or legal obligations change. New terms apply from the date they are published and will not remove rights that have already arisen.

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. If you are a consumer, mandatory rights and any right to bring proceedings in the courts where you live continue to apply. Contact Cryptara through the contact details shown on this website or in your booking confirmation.
